Terms for Hyre Pass

These subscription terms set forth the rules for Hyre Pass (subscription). By purchasing a Hyre Pass, the subscriber receives prices and benefits in accordance with the current subscription plan listed at hyre.no/hyre-pass. Hyre's general terms and conditions apply to all subscriptions.

Creation, Purchase, and Payment

The purchase of a subscription is made via app.hyre.no or the Hyre app. The agreement enters into force when the subscriber confirms the purchase. The subscription cost is deducted monthly from the renter's linked payment method. The subscription renews automatically upon payment unless canceled by the subscriber.

Benefits and Changes to the Subscription

Hyre's price overview displays the benefits and discounts associated with the subscription. This is always available at hyre.no. Benefits may include lower prices, lower insurance deductibles, more included kilometers, etc. Hyre reserves the right to change the benefits and discounts included in the subscription, as well as their scope, without further notice. Hyre also reserves the right to amend the subscription terms. Material changes (e.g., changes to the monthly subscription cost) will be notified in writing and will, at a minimum, correspond with the subscription's notice period.

The subscription can be shared with up to three members of the same household. Hyre automatically tracks account usage and who has access. Any form of misuse will lead to the termination of the agreement and the exclusion of the individual from Hyre. Prices are only applicable in the country to which the subscription belongs, unless otherwise communicated.

Termination and Changing Subscription Type

The subscriber may cancel the subscription at any time. There is no lock-in period, and the subscription terminates at the end of the current subscription period. The subscriber may use the vehicles in accordance with the terms until the subscription ends. Costs and fees are invoiced continuously until the subscription is canceled. If you do not have an active subscription throughout the entire rental period, non-subscription pricing will apply.

If Hyre terminates the agreement due to a breach of rules (e.g., violation of Hyre's terms), amounts already paid for the current month will not be refunded. Hyre reserves the right to close or block accounts in the event of a breach of Hyre's terms and conditions, and may terminate a subscription without notice, regardless of the cause.

The subscription is covered by a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The subscriber can only cancel the purchase if the subscription has not been used during these 14 days. The subscription is considered used once the customer makes a purchase, uses a service, or drives a car through the subscription.

Personal Subscription and Restricted Booking Access

Hyre Pass is a personal subscription and can be used exclusively by the registered user or members of the same household who are registered under the subscription. In the event of overlapping rental periods, only the first rental period will qualify for discounted rental rates.

It is only permitted to share reservations with household members linked to the subscription. Sharing outside of the household is not permitted and is considered a breach of the subscription terms. The subscription is intended to be purchased and primarily used in its country of origin.

Breaches of these terms may result in invoice adjustments or suspension from the service.
