At Hyre, we are now looking to expand our operations team with proactive Damage Assistants who will handle and follow up on damage cases, and contribute to efficient administration of our vehicle fleet.

This is a part-time position, as a Damage Assistant, working in Hyre's Damage team. You would refer to Sivert Fedje, Senior Operations Consultant. Desired start date as soon as possible. Working hours may vary somewhat depending on needs, but a minimum of 8 hours per week is preferred. The work will primarily take place at our office in Oslo, with the possibility of working from home.

If you wish to take advantage of the option to work from home, you are responsible for providing your own laptop and external monitor.

Job Description

  • Review damage reports submitted via the Hyre app and assess whether they should be repaired
  • Handle damage cases and help decide which vehicles should be sent to a workshop
  • Follow up with customers, workshops, and insurance providers
  • Administration of the vehicle fleet
  • Respond to and handle inquiries via chat and email

Who are you?

  • You have excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Swedish and/or Danish is a great advantage
  • You keep a cool head and manage to maintain a friendly and professional tone in all situations
  • You are structured, self-driven, and detail-oriented
  • You enjoy interacting with people and love solving problems
  • You have solid IT skills and are comfortable using MS Office and digital tools
  • You can handle multiple tasks at once in an efficient and organized manner
  • You’re flexible and available to work both days, evenings, and holidays
  • You hold a Category B driver's license and preferably have basic car knowledge
  • You may already have experience from customer service or other service roles – a big plus, but not a requirement
  • You’re passionate about our vision of a future where no one needs to own a private car in the city
